It will be released by GroundUP, led by Michael League. This ambitious work reflects her experience of the pandemic and childbirth, which has transformed her entire world and brought her to a new realm, a portal. The sound reflects humanity's ability to transform difficulties into possibilities of light and beauty, lessons from nature, love and creative energy. Furthermore, following the previous album which was a message directed at America in 2019, this release ironically comes under similar circumstances, making its message all the more significant. The co-producer is Shai Maestro, who also performed with Camila at the Kyoto Music Expo in the year \"Amber\" was released, and this time he is mainly in charge of synthesizers and programming. The members are mainly from Shai's network, as with the previous album. On drums is Offrey Nehemiah, a top young talent in the Israeli jazz scene who is currently based in NY and is also a member of Shai's band. On piano is Gati Lehavi of the GTO Trio, a trio of the top young Israeli jazz musicians. Others include harpist Margaret Davis, who is active in multiple genres, mainly classical. Featured artists include Gretchen Parlato \u0026amp; Becca Stevens, and Faumelisa Mankepijan, a poet and artist of the Mapuche people of South America. Camila's breathtaking vocal control and multi-layered harmonies, along with her soaring and free-flowing guitar playing, form the foundation of the sound's driving force, while Shai Maestro's synths and programming create vibrant layers of color. Offrey Nehemiah's structured rhythms and Margaret Davis's ethereal harp come together to create a sound that, while static in tone, is full of relaxed dynamism. The album opens with a beautiful multi-layered harmonies and a wonderful balance of acoustic and electronic elements, followed by the exhilarating first single \"The Nurturer\" which incorporates elements of Brazilian music, the title track which is like a beautiful contemporary folklore piece, \"Uncovered Ground,\" a meditative ballad featuring Gretchen and Becca where the three musicians' timbres and phrasing harmonize perfectly, and finally, \"Persistir,\" an expanded reprise of \"Nieno La\" influenced by Arvo P?rt, among other original compositions by Camila. The Japanese edition includes a special bonus track: \"Persist,\" an English version of \"Persistir.\" Media reviews and other information indicate that this is her latest album, following the masterpiece \"Amber\" (2019) featuring an organic ensemble with The Nectar Orchestra. It will be released by Michael League's GroundUP label. This ambitious work reflects her experience of the pandemic and childbirth, suggesting a rebirth of her entire world and a new realm, a portal. The album expresses, in its organic sound, the human ability to transform hardship into the potential of light and beauty, lessons from nature, love, and creative energy.
