With melancholic vocal melodies, deep singing, and beautiful twin lead guitars?c With the addition of Christian Martucci (guitar) of Stone Sour, this is a gem of an album overflowing with rock tradition and prestige. Black Star Riders consists of five members: Ricky Warwick (vocals\/guitar), Scott Gorham (guitar), Christian Martucci (guitar), Robbie Crane (bass), and Chad Szeliger (drums). Their history dates back to 1996, ten years after the death of Phil Lynott, who led Thin Lizzy and left behind numerous masterpieces. Thin Lizzy, reformed with John Sykes (guitar\/vocals), Scott Gorham, Brian Downey (drums), Darren Wharton (keyboards), and Marco Mendoza (bass), continued to perform live energetically, albeit with some member changes. In 2009, they welcomed former The Almighty member Ricky Warwick (vocals\/guitar) and began writing original songs. They officially announced that they would not be releasing an album under the Thin Lizzy name and changed their name to Black Star Riders in 2012. After Brian Downey and Darren Wharton left the band, the remaining five members?Ricky, Scott, Marco, former Brother Kane member Damon Johnson (guitar), and former Megadeth and Y\u0026amp;T member Jimmy DeGrasso (drums)?recorded their debut album, \"All Hell Breaks Loose\" (2013). With Ricky's vocals and melodies reminiscent of Phil, Scott and Damon's twin guitars, and Irish-flavored melodies, this album, which followed in the footsteps of Thin Lizzy, reached number 25 on the UK charts. After Marco left to focus on The Dead Daisies, the band welcomed Robbie Crane, who had played with the Vince Neil Band and Ratt, and released their second album, \"Killer Instinct\" (2015). This album reached number 13 on the UK charts, and riding on that momentum, they released their third album, \"Heavy Fire\" (2017), with the same members, which also became a hit, reaching number 6 on the UK charts. After the album's release, Jimmy left the band, so they toured with Chad Szeliger of Breaking Benjamin, but after the tour, Damon left to focus on his own activities. This fourth album, \"Another State of Grace,\" was completed after recording with a new lineup that included Christian Martucci of Stone Sour. As before, this album centers around songs that incorporate the essence of Thin Lizzy, and includes tracks that will appeal to Thin Lizzy fans, such as the title track \"Another State of Grace\" which incorporates Irish melodies, and \"Ain't the End of the World\" which starts with catchy twin-lead guitar playing. On the other hand, the album is also remarkable for its richness in songs that pursue the band's own style while inheriting Thin Lizzy's melancholy and pop sensibilities, such as ballads using acoustic guitar and powerful rock and roll songs, and Ricky's singing, which is reminiscent of Phil Lynott, is truly enjoyable. This album, which inherits the spirit of Thin Lizzy while incorporating the band's evolution, is sure to captivate rock fans of all generations.
