With their debut album, \"KINGDOM OF MADNESS\" (1978), they developed hard rock incorporating elements of progressive rock. Their third album, \"CHASE THE DRAGON\" (1982), which was more melodic and refined, reached number 17 on the UK charts, and they became widely known. Subsequently, their music became more compact, and they changed their style to one that added lyricism to their vocal melodies. Their 5th album, \"ON A STORYTELLER'S NIGHT\" (1985), reached number 24 in the UK charts, their 7th album, \"WINGS OF HEAVEN\" (1988), reached number 5, and their 8th album, \"GOODNIGHT L.A.\" (1990), reached number 7, becoming a hit and leaving behind numerous classic songs. In the 1990s, with the changing music scene, the band ended their activities with the album \"THE LAST DANCE\" (released in 1996 as \"STRONGHOLD\" in the UK), which captured their final tour in 1995. Bob then continued his work with Tony and Hard Rain, and continued as a solo singer, successfully producing albums and performing live. Tony then approached him about a Magnum reunion, and together with Mark Steinway (keyboards), who had been in the band since the 1980s, and Al Barrow (bass), who had been in Hard Rain, they released the comeback album \"BREATH OF LIFE\" (2002). Since then, they have consistently released albums and enjoy a stable popularity in Europe. Magnum Musical, highly regarded as a live band, has released many live albums in the past, but \"Live at the Symphony Hall\" captures their tour supporting their 20th album, \"Lost on the Road to Eternity\" (2018).
