It includes \"Still Got the Blues\" featuring John Sykes and Danny Bowes (Thunder), who have broken their long silence to return to the scene, and \"Parisienne Walkways\" by Ricky Warwick (The Almighty, Black Star Riders) and Steve Morse (Deep Purple). A requiem of love and friendship dedicated to a superstar, featuring a star-studded lineup of artists. A blues tribute to the soul of the eternal guitar hero who passed away on February 6, 2011, at the age of 58. Friends who walked alongside Gary Moore and musicians who admire him have come together to present this tribute album, filled with respect and affection, to the world. In response to his popularity and influence, numerous top musicians have participated in this album. John Sykes (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Blue Murder) breaks his long silence to participate with \"Still Got the Blues,\" demonstrating his continued vitality with his rich, soulful guitar playing and signaling his return. His first collaboration with Danny Bowes (Thunder) creates a synergistic effect as the heightened emotions of both musicians are realized. Steve Morse (Deep Purple) delivers a poetic performance on \"Parisienne Walkways,\" a famous song used in figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu's short program in recent years. A dream collaboration with Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders, The Almighty) also comes to fruition. The fact that many musicians who had direct connections with Gary participated also makes this album a \"true\" tribute album. The sheer scale of Gary's presence becomes clear when past members, such as Neil Carter, his partner who supported him throughout the 1980s; Don Airey (Rainbow, Deep Purple), with whom he had numerous keyboard battles; Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), who played a crucial role in his career; Eric Singer (KISS) and Darrin Mooney, who were drummers for the band; and Brush Shields of Skid Row, Gary's first professional band, are joined by Gary's sons, Jack and Gus. The initiator of this project is Bob Daisley, who has been active on the front lines of hard rock\/heavy metal with Rainbow and Ozzy Osbourne, and who first collaborated with Gary on the recording sessions for \"Victims of the Future\" (1984), and has accompanied him on three tours of Japan. It was Bob who encouraged Gary, who was pursuing a rock path, to make a blues album, which led to the hit album \"Still Got the Blues\" (1990). The two reunited for \"Power of the Blues\" (2004). Gary has released tribute albums to great guitarists, such as \"Blues for Greenie\" (1995) and \"Blues for Jimi\" (2012), which was released posthumously, but now this album is dedicated to himself. Seven years after his death, we still hold the blues in our hearts.
