The new guitarist who joined after an audition was Jesse Wood, the eldest son of Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones. Jesse was born in 1976 to Ronnie and his first wife, the late Chrissie Findlay. He played as a side guitarist for Faces, who made their first visit to Japan in 37 years at Fuji Rock in 2011, and also played bass at his father Ronnie's solo concerts in London. He is also the guitarist for the band Red Racer, which he started with friends. In addition to his music career, he has also worked as a model, making use of his good looks. In 2014, he married Fern Cotton, a popular British television\/radio presenter and trendsetter who also has her own fashion brand, showcasing her natural sense of style. The addition of a talented young musician with multifaceted musical abilities, good looks, and a proven track record is a great boost for Leaf. A considerable amount of time passed between the new lineup and the creation of their new album, but Gary explained the reason: \"We were just living! I never once thought about how much time had passed. And we didn't want to rush out an album and just see the results. We wanted to make the best album we could.\" They spent two and a half years writing the new album. During that time, they toured the UK twice, performing new songs at each show to gauge the audience's reaction. Produced by their longtime collaborator George Draklius (The Black Crowes, The Jayhawks, etc.), \"Revelation\" is a masterpiece filled with excellent classic rock songs reminiscent of Leaf's earlier work, as if the 18-year hiatus had never happened.
