TYTAN was formed in London in 1981, when NWOBHM was at its peak, by Kevin Riddles (bass) and Dave Duford (drums) after they left Angel Witch. Guitarist Steve Gibbs (guitar) and Kal Swan (vocals) joined them. The band generated significant buzz as a supergroup even before their first live performance. Later, Dave left, and former Judas Priest member Les Binks joined. Simon Wright (drums), Steve Mann, and Dave Harrison also participated in the recording. The album was completed by 1983. However, it was finally released two years later in 1985 and, due to its excellent content, achieved good sales. However, the band no longer existed, and vocalist Cal Swan moved to LA and formed Lion with guitarist Doug Aldridge, who would later join Whitesnake, and they became particularly popular in Japan. This album was not released in Japan at the time, but the 1982 live DVD (containing 14 tracks) that was included with the initial 2006 release has been reproduced, and in addition, four BBC radio session recordings have been added as bonus tracks, as well as demos of songs not included on the album.
