After leaving the band in 1980, he continued to work with several bands and as a solo artist, while also working as a session musician. In 2001, he was chosen as the frontman for the 21st Century Schizoid Band. This caught the eye of Robert Fripp, and he joined \"A King Crimson Project.\" These activities led to the reunion of \"King Crimson,\" and Jakko became an official member in 2013, playing a central role in the band. The band disbanded after their 2021 tour. This album is his first solo album in five years since \"Secrets and Lies\" in 2020.
