Having lived an outsider lifestyle since childhood, Tuck says that listening to punk bands like Black Flag, Dead Boys, and The Clash, as well as glam rock bands like the New York Dolls and Mott the Hoople, was his solace. Following the dissolution of BITERS in 2018, he debuted in 2020 with a new solo band, TUK SMITH \u0026amp; THE RESTLESS HEARTS, with the single \"What Kinda Love.\" However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to cancel all his activities, including opening for M?tley Cr?e and Def Leppard's stadium tours, and he was dropped from his label. In 2022, he released this debut album as the first artist on MRG, a new label co-founded by Marty Frederiksen (producer\/composer for Aerosmith, Buckcherry, and The Struts) and Tuck's manager.
