In the 1980s, he moved to Boston and played in his own band and as a session player, backing Chuck Berry and The Drifters. In the late 1980s, he joined Luther Johnson's band, participating in albums and tours. In 1991, he was invited to join Clarence \"Gatemouth\" Brown's band and moved to New Orleans, where he toured the world. At the same time, he released his solo album \"Just The Piano...\" in 1998. After that, he released albums such as \"Down \u0026amp; Dirty\" (1999) and \"Buckle Up\" (2000) with the Joe Crown Organ Combo. After Gatemouth's death in 2005, he played in a band featuring Walter Wolfman Washington. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. He has released many albums as a soloist, in a trio, and with an organ combo, and has performed at various festivals, including New Orleans Jazz \u0026amp; Heritage.
