Raised in a music-loving family, he began singing in church and choirs from a young age. Influenced by his father, he developed an interest in Neil Young, Van Morrison, and The Band, and began composing music at the age of 14, picking up a guitar. In 2014, he met Ally Vogler and Martha Mehring, and together they formed the folk trio River Kittens. They released the EP \"River Kittens\" and actively performed live, gaining popularity in their local area. After Mehring left in 2018, they continued as a duo. In 2021, they released the EP \"Soaking Wet\" on Devon Allman's label, Create Records. They collaborated with artists such as G. Love, but disbanded in 2023 to pursue their own paths. Since then, he has participated in various collaborations as a solo artist, including touring with the Allman Betts Family Revival.
