Centered around Israeli-born guitarist Oli Naftali, who emigrated to Memphis, the band was formed in 2015 with soulful vocalist Thierry Jackson and her sister, powerful drummer Tikila TK Jackson. The following year, in 2016, they represented Memphis at the International Blues Challenge and signed with the revived Stax label less than a year after their formation. Their 2017 debut album, \"Southern Avenue,\" received critical acclaim, charting in the blues and Americana genres for an extended period and winning a Blues Music Award. Their 2019 second album, \"Keep On,\" was nominated for a Grammy Award. Following member departures and the addition of another sister, Eva Jackson, they released their third album, \"Be the Love You Want,\" in 2021.
