Leave it to Them Heather Mulroney was born in 1985. She grew up in New Jersey and studied opera, jazz, and music theory at a music school. From 2006 to 2009, she lived in a quiet community in Massachusetts and began writing songs. In 2009, she independently released her debut album, \"Cozy Razor's Edge,\" which compiled those songs. In 2011, she released her second album, \"Time \u0026amp; Pocket Change.\" In 2012, she signed with Signature Sound, an Americana label that has launched the careers of many singer-songwriters including Lake Street Dive and Eilin Jewell, and made her US debut in 2013 with \"Heather Maloney.\" In 2014, she released the EP \"Woodstock,\" which included a cover of a Joni Mitchell song in collaboration with the Boston folk band Darlingside. It received high praise from the media, and she subsequently toured with the band.
