Then, in 1962, he released \"Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music,\" an album of reinterpretations of country music, on his own record label, Tangerine Records. The single \"I Can't Stop Loving\" also reached number one on the Billboard Pop Chart. The following year, it won a Grammy Award and became the best-selling album by a Black musician, and even within the country music genre. Volume 2, released afterward, was also highly acclaimed and produced many hit songs.
