She studied music and painting at an art college in LA, absorbing various genres of music including blues, folk, and country. She later moved to Portland and released her first album, \"Under The Sun,\" in 2001. The album became a hit on California radio stations and led to appearances at many festivals. After releasing \"Dredge\" in 2004 and \"Rain of Days\" in 2006, her 2011 album \"Get Inside This House\" won the IBC's Best Self-Produced Album award. In parallel, he also released \"Swimming in Turpentine\" in 2009 with his band Woodbrain. In 2014, he made his first visit to Japan with two albums, \"Old Blood\" and \"Live at the Aztec Theatre,\" and received great acclaim for his exceptional guitar playing. He also performed at Marlfest in 2018 and 2021, receiving a great response.
