After studying with Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, and Wayne Shorter at the Thelonious Monk School of Music, and with Darren Barrett at Berklee College of Music, he based himself in New York and performed with Gerald Clayton, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Buster Williams, and participated in numerous recordings with Mark Turner, Kendrick Scott, and Miguel Zenon. His 2020 debut album, \"Spirit Song,\" was critically acclaimed by many media outlets and musicians. Since then, he has consistently released leader albums such as \"Countdown\" (2021), \"Isla\" (2022), and \"Inception\" (2023), all of which have received high praise.
