Sundaze (Unreleased Demo) Alison Brown is a banjo player born in Connecticut in 1962. At the age of 12, she toured with fiddler Stewart Duncan and performed at the Grand Ole Opry. Upon graduating from high school, the two released their duo album \"Pre-Sequel\". In 1980, while attending Harvard University, she participated in the Northern Lights reunion. After graduating in 1987, she joined Alison Krauss's Union Station. Klaus's 1990 album \"I've Got That Old Feeling\" won a Grammy Award. After leaving Union Station and moving to Tennessee, his solo debut album \"Simple Pleasures\" was also nominated for a Grammy. In 1991, he won the IBMA Banjo Player of the Year award. In 1995, he co-founded Compass Records in Nashville with his husband, Gary West, and released \"Out of the Blue\" in 1998.
