As Luther Allison's ninth child, he was influenced by his father and developed a passion for blues and guitar from a young age. At the age of 13, he had his first recording experience with his father. After graduating from high school, he joined bands with Koko Taylor and Willie Dixon. In 1983, he made his debut as a member of his father's band at the highlight of the Chicago Blues Festival. Around that time, influenced by artists such as Johnny Winter and Stevie Ray Vaughan, he established his own guitar style. In 1989, he moved to Paris with his father. In 1990, he released his first solo album, \"The Next Generation.\" After that, he consistently released albums at a rapid pace of one per year. From 2007, he moved to the label Jazzhaus Records and released four albums there.
