After graduating from Queen's University, she began her career as a professional singer. In 2002, she self-produced and released \"A Note To Follow So.\" Her 2004 EP \"Oh Heart\" became a hit and brought her widespread attention. In 2006, she released her second album, \"For All Time.\" Since then, she has toured with leading Canadian artists such as Dan Hill, and in 2008 released the jazz album \"Chances,\" which includes songs co-written with Ron Sexsmith. The album received critical acclaim and won numerous music awards, including a Juno Award. Since then, she has consistently released albums such as \"Mischievous Moon\" (2011), \"Chansons\" (2013), \"Fool's Gold\" (2014), \"The Family Album\" (2016, a collaboration with her brother Matthew), and \"Metaphora\" (2018), winning various music awards with each release. She is now one of Canada's leading female jazz and folk singers.
