In 1980, he formed Blues Survivors and participated in recordings for Charlie Brown, Dave Myers, and others. He also toured with artists such as Lowell Fulson and Jimmy Rodgers, and performed at various events including the Chicago Blues Festival. In 1985, he made his album debut with \"Playin' In Your Town.\" Since then, he has consistently released dozens of albums and has collaborated with renowned artists such as James Cotton and Charlie Musselwhite at his own event, \"Blues Harmonica Blowout.\" He has released numerous albums as part of the \"Blues Harp Meltdown\" series. In 2016, he released \"Golden State Lone Star Blues Revue\" with a powerful unit comprised of members who are intimately familiar with West Coast blues, including Little Charlie Beatty and Anson Fundabar.
