He attended a performing arts school in Manhattan and, after graduating, toured with Alicia Keys as a backup vocalist. In 2013, he moved to Nashville, and the following year, he formed the rock duo Muddy Magnolias with Texas singer Callie North. They performed with artists such as Gary Clark Jr., the Zac Brown Band, and Kid Rock, and released their debut single \"American Woman\" in 2015. In parallel, Jesse also worked as a solo artist, participating in projects by rappers such as Yelawolf and Skyzoo, and John Legend's \"Darkness and Light\" (2016). In 2016, Muddy Magnolias performed at several major festivals, including Lollapalooza, and released the album \"Broken People,\" but disbanded the following year.
