Influenced by his father, Silvaster Davis, who played with John Lee Hooker and Elmore James, he developed a passion for the blues from a young age. He and his brother played in Mississippi and St. Louis from the 1960s with the Lard Can Band, opening for Albert King and Ike Turner. Although they continued to perform live, they were not fortunate enough to get a recording deal, and more than 30 years passed. Then, in 2000, during their first European tour, they were discovered by the Dutch record label Black \u0026amp; Tan, and have since released six albums consistently, including \"Ain't Gotta Dime\" in 2009 and \"Undercover Blues\" in 2011. Since then, they have been based in Europe, and although their career took a long time to take off, they have gained recognition and performed at blues festivals around the world. Currently, they are active as one of the most prominent Delta bluesmen.
