The group is a family project consisting of the three Lee brothers?Alvin, Derrick, and Keith?whose grandfather and father were pastors, and their three nephews. They began playing gospel music at the House of God church at the age of seven, where they learned not only vocals but also various instruments including rap, pedal steel, and guitar. They released the live album \"It Is No Secret\" in 2002, and \"Say Yes!\" on Arhooli Records in 2005. He gradually began performing outside of churches, appearing at over 100 famous festivals, including New Orleans Jazz \u0026amp; Heritage, Bonnaroo, and Merlefest. He has collaborated with many jam musicians such as The Black Crowes, Los Lobos, and Derek Trucks, receiving high acclaim.
