At age 12, she performed as a soloist with the Victoria Symphony alongside her brother Tyler. In 2003, she performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She also played popular music on the streets and was a guest performer with the Canadian folk-rock group Spirit of the West. She then officially joined the Celtic rock band, The Paperboys. In 2004, while performing at a festival with the band, she met veteran singer-songwriter Chip Taylor. Recognizing her talent not only as a fiddler but also as a vocalist, Chip produced her 2007 debut album, 'Rearview Mirror Tears'. In 2009, she released her second album, \"Alright Dynamite,\" which received high praise from many media outlets. She also participated in Chip's 2011 album \"Rock 'n' Roll Joe,\" accompanying him on his US and European tours (including a visit to Japan).
