Alison formed Po' Girl in Canada in 2003 with Trish Klein, formerly of Be Good Tanyas, and released their album 'Po' Girl' that same year. They received critical acclaim and continued to release albums consistently, but went on hiatus in 2012. That same year, she joined Sankofa, a unit with John Sebastian and Dom Fremons, and released 'The Uptown Strut'. Meanwhile, JT, or Jeremy Lindsay, is active in the Chicago soul-rock band, JT and the Clouds. In 2003, she consistently released albums such as \"Delilah.\" In 2010, JT Nero released \"mountains\/forests\" as a solo artist, along with members of Po' Girl, with whom he had collaborated frequently before. Having hit it off there, JT and Alison released \"Birds of Chicago\" as a duo in 2012.
