They reformed in 1999 with a change in members. Despite numerous member changes due to health issues and other factors, they continued to be active and consistently captivated symphonic metal fans. Their 6th album, \"Sacrifaction,\" released in 2014, included the song \"Nightfall,\" which made Xandria even more famous. In May 2022, Marco released a message to fans about the band's new journey, along with the lead single \"Reborn,\" created with the new members, on YouTube. The band consists of Marco Heubaum (G), sixth vocalist Amber Voorvai (Vo), Rob Crown (G), Tim Schwarz (B), and Dimitros Gachos (Ds). They released their 8th album, \"The Wonders Still Awaiting,\" in February 2023 and their 9th album, \"Universal Tales,\" in November 2024. While previous vocalists had a strong gothic element, typical of soprano singers, current vocalist Amber has a soaring voice and a more pop-oriented style, bringing innovation to the band, while the grand orchestrations and choirs retain the Xandria feel. This latest album, \"Eclipse,\" is Xandria's most frank and cinematic album to date. It is a dark, colorful, and rebellious statement for an era where reason, empathy, and democracy are all threatened. Unfortunately, there have been changes in the band's lineup again with Tim Schwarz (B) leaving, but the band says that they have brought new energy, ambition, and a clear artistic vision that belies this, aiming higher than ever and never looking back.
