This is the debut album of the three-piece band GRAND. GRAND was formed in 2020 in the southern suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden. Vocalist Matthias Olofsson had long harbored a dream of one day releasing his own AOR project. Having worked as a professional singer-songwriter for about 20 years, he continued to write songs while experimenting with various ideas, simply waiting for the right moment. Then, in the fall of 2020, he finally met two fellow musicians who shared his passion for the AOR genre: guitarist and producer Jakob Svensson (WIGELIUS) and drummer Anton Martinez Mats. This trio soon joined forces, and GRAND became a reality. Combining new and old ideas influenced by their favorite bands such as FOREIGNER, MR.BIG, and GIANT, they completed a demo that they felt best represented who they wanted to be. They began sending their songs to various labels, and in 2021, they signed with Frontiers Records, a prestigious label renowned for its high-quality melodic rock. At the end of 2022, the band finally made their global debut.
