This album follows their critically acclaimed 2024 album \"Fine Art\" and the BAFTA and Sundance Film Festival winning biographical film of the same name. \"They labeled KNEECAP as 'terrorists,' and tried to stop us by canceling performances and having the Prime Minister himself issue a statement. That was the motivation we needed... This wasn't an impulsive reaction, but a well-considered response to those who tried to silence us. And they failed. I made the album with Dan Carey. I'm honored to have worked with him. It's a more melancholic sound... because these are melancholic times. But at the same time, it's rebellious and triumphant. Inspired by the 'Fenian,' a warrior in Irish folklore and later a derogatory term for the Irish, we proudly bear that name. Now we use it to refer to all those who speak the truth against authority. After 800 years of colonial rule, they thought the Irish language would disappear. But it didn't.
