Ride was formed in Oxford, England in 1988. The band consists of four members: Mark Gardener (G\/Vo), Andy Bell (G\/Vo), Steve Queralt (B), and Laurence Colbert (Dr). They released their debut album, \"Nowhere,\" in 1990 on Creation Records. Their second album, \"Going Blank Again,\" in 1992, and their third album, \"Carnival of Light,\" in 1994, were both hits, reaching number 5 on the UK charts. However, they disbanded before the release of their fourth album, \"Tarantula,\" in 1996. After a brief reunion in 2001, they resumed full-fledged activities in 2014.
