The LP series includes live performances by Khruangbin with Kelly Doyle, Ruben Moreno, The Suffers, and Robert Ellis at Stubb's in Austin, Texas; a live performance with Nubya Garcia at Radio City in New York; a live performance with Men I Trust at RBC Echo Beach in Toronto; and a live performance with Toro Y Moi and others at The Fillmore in Miami. Following the first LP released on May 19 (the CD exclusive to Japan will be released on June 28), the second LP, Khruangbin \u0026amp; Nubya Garcia \"Live at Radio City Music Hall,\" will be released on June 30, 2023 (the CD exclusive to Japan will be released on July 19) by Dead Oceans in partnership with Night Time Stories. The releases continued with Khruangbin \u0026amp; Men I Trust's \"Live at RBC Echo Beach\" (August 11) and Khruangbin \u0026amp; Toro y Moi's \"Live at the Fillmore Miami\" (September 22). \"As global restrictions were gradually eased and the long-awaited end of lockdowns arrived, it was a truly spiritual experience for us to see isolated people come together through song and dance. It was immeasurable to see and hear the audience sing along to the songs we released during the pandemic, and to feel so loved and accepted. We wanted to find a way to commemorate this journey, so we decided to release a series of live albums, including artwork and photographs from those shows, to celebrate the artists we collaborated with. It was truly a memorable time,\" says Khruangbin. Known as a musical wedding around the world, Khruangbin has toured globally many times and performed on the stages of almost every major festival in the world, including Glastonbury, Primavera, and Coachella. In 2022, the band embarked on their largest tour to date, including legendary performances at the Greek Theatre in LA, Radio City Music Hall in New York, and Alexandra Palace in London. They also focused on highlighting the diverse repertoire of their tour companions and introducing their favorite musicians. Alongside these groundbreaking tour activities, Khruangbin recently collaborated with Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Tour? to create an album honoring Vieux's late father, Ali Farka Tour?.
