'Everything Was Beautiful,' the band's most \"live\" sound to date, is now released. Spiritualized announced that their new album, 'Everything Was Beautiful,' will be released on February 25, 2022, by Bella Union. They simultaneously released the album's opening track, \"Always Together With You.\" While some were in lockdown and isolation due to the coronavirus, others grew stronger in the face of adversity. \"It felt like I was training my whole life,\" says J Spaceman. He spoke of a love for solitude. When you reframe solitude as \"beautiful solitude,\" it's not so bad. He walks through the \"Roman London\" of the sky, where even sirens have stopped singing, filled with birdsong, and no contrails whatsoever. Walking with the birdsong, he tried to listen to and understand all the music playing in his head. However, mixing this ninth album still wasn't quite right. Spaceman played 16 different instruments on 'Everything Was Beautiful,' not only at his home but also in 11 different studios. He also hired more than 30 musicians and singers, including his daughter Poppy, longtime collaborator and friend John Coxon, a string\/brass section, and the Whitechapel Bell Foundry choir\/finger bells\/chimes. This meant that a lot was going on. \"There was so much information, and even a slight movement would throw off the balance of the mix. But for me, it's important to do it over and over again. It's not like it's getting out of control. With each iteration, you get something good. People make mistakes, but you keep some of those mistakes. That's a kind of achievement. You end up getting there.\" The mix finally reached that point, and 'Everything Was Beautiful' was completed, creating the most \"live\" sound in Spiritualized's history since the live album 'Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space' and 'Royal Albert Hall October 10 1997.' Spiritualized was formed in 1990, centered around Jason Pierce, also known as J Spaceman, a member of the legendary English rugby band Spacemen 3. They released their debut album, Lazer Guided Melodies, in 1992. In 1997, they released the masterpiece Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space, and have continued to release albums since. In 2005, Pierce suffered a serious illness, but in 2008, he released his comeback album, Songs In A\u0026amp;E.
