This work reflects the concept of \"Aubrey Mixes: The Ultraworld Excursions\" (a remix album by artists featured on \"Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld\") and includes remixes by familiar members who also participated in \"Abolition of The Royal Familia,\" such as Youth, Moody Boys, David Harrow, Andy Falconer, Paul Metamono, and Gaudi. The Orb offers a broad journey through dance music, including acid house, Balearic beat, and techno. Formed in London in 1988 by Alex Paterson, a roadie for Killing Joke, and Jimmy Cauty of The KLF, The Orb left in 1990. Since then, Alex Paterson has been the central figure, and the group remains immensely popular as an electronic music group that established ambient house and progressive house. Their debut album, \"The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld,\" was released in 1991 by Big Life. Their second album, \"U.F.Orb,\" released the following year in 1992, reached number one on the UK charts. The group subsequently moved to Island Records. Following the 1993 live album \"Live 93\" and the 1994 mini-album \"Pomme Fritz,\" they released albums such as \"Orbus Terrarum\" (1995), \"Orblivion\" (1996), and \"Cydonia\" (2001). In 2004, they released \"Bicycles \u0026amp; Tricycles\" on Cooking Vinyl, in 2005 \"Okie Dokie It's the Orb on Kompakt\" on Kompakt, in 2008 \"The Dream\" on Liquid Sound Design, and in 2009 \"Baghdad Batteries (Orbsessions Volume III)\" on Malicious Damage, continuing to release albums on different labels. In 2010, they released \"Metallic Spheres,\" an album featuring David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, on Columbia, which reached number 12 on the UK charts. Subsequently, he released two albums on Cooking Vinyl: \"The Orbserver in the Star House\" (2012) and \"More Tales from the Orbservatory\" (2013). Lee \"Scratch\" Perry was featured on both albums. In 2015, he released \"Moonbuilding 2703 AD\" on Kompakt, his first album in 10 years. The following year, 2016, he released \"COW\/ Chill Out, World!\", followed by \"No Sounds Are Out Of Bounds\" in 2018, and \"Abolition of the Royal Familia\" in 2020, all on Cooking Vinyl.
