From upbeat blues to deeply moving ballads, this album showcases Don Bryant's signature style and continues to be highly regarded by Japanese soul fans. Following this album, he married Ann Peebles, the diva of Hi Records. He collaborated with Peebles on some of her most famous songs, such as \"I Can't Stand the Rain,\" showcasing his talent as a songwriter.
