Started playing the violin at the age of 3. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Faculty of Music. Studied under jazz violinist Naoko Terai. While working as an assistant, she diligently honed her jazz violin skills and performed an overwhelming number of live performances, over 2,000 times in 8 years from 2001, establishing her own unique jazz style. Received the Best Player Award at the 19th Asakusa Jazz Contest. In 2001, he won the Shigeharu Mukai Award at the Yokohama Jazz Promenade Live Competition finals. In September 2009, he became a part-time lecturer in the jazz course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Currently, he performs live as his own leader mainly in live music venues in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and also participates in many bands and sessions, including Painting of Notes, The Tree of Life, and Super Jazz Strings. Based on jazz, he is known for his beautiful tone and passionate performances across a wide range of genres. He also possesses great talent as a composer, and his original numbers, full of melody, have been well received.
