Incorporating elements of neo-soul, funk, and electronic music, while developing a jazz-influenced R\u0026amp;B sound, this album pushes their unique artistic sensibilities to the highest levels. The band's distinctive name comes from a synth patch they discovered in the studio that sounded like a cat meowing. Amber and Phil's beautiful harmonies resonate amidst the meowing synthesizer sounds. Amber Navran is an LA-based musician who handles vocals, flute, and production for Catpack. She is also active as a member of Moonchild, a neo-soul trio popular in Japan. As part of Moonchild, Navran has released five albums, and it's still fresh in our memory that they were nominated for a Grammy Award in the \"Best Progressive R\u0026amp;B Album\" category in 2023. Amber, who displays outstanding talent not only in her clear singing voice but also in production and performance, has raised her profile by collaborating, producing, and touring with artists such as Kamasi Washington, Stevie Wonder, The Internet, Jill Scott, Lalah Hathaway, and Robert Glasper.
