The title \"WORLD\" not only signifies the band's global activities but also their transcendence of various genres and boundaries. It embodies their desire to overcome the boundaries and limitations of national borders, race, nationality, gender, and musical genres. This album features a diverse range of artists from around the world. On \"Feather,\" Elephant Gym welcomes TENDRE from Japan and Whyte, an up-and-coming R\u0026amp;B singer from Taiwan, with each artist contributing completely different melodies and lyrics to Elephant Gym's instrumental tracks. They also produced tracks such as \"Name,\" a double-bass song featuring Seiji Kameda, bassist of Tokyo Jihen, who greatly influenced the band members; \"Happy Prince,\" featuring YILE LIN, a leading singer-songwriter from Taiwan; and \"Jhalleyaa,\" sung in Hindi by Indian-Canadian Shashaa Tirupati. The album also includes tracks featuring a horn section, which were performed at Fuji Rock and received a great response. Accompanied by a brass band from Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, Elephant Gym's hometown, they have newly recorded three horn arrangements of the band's representative songs, befitting their 10th-anniversary release. With this album, truly befitting their 10th anniversary, they will embark on a world tour. In Japan, a tour of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka has been scheduled for January 2024, and a memorable performance featuring Ryo Konishi's band, Zoumusha, as the horn section is planned. The CD will be distributed domestically in a limited edition set that includes the Taiwanese version and a Japan-exclusive live DVD. The DVD is a mini-live DVD with five songs, featuring footage from their previous tour, DREAMS in Japan Tour, held at Ebisu Liquidroom in November 2022.
