This elicits cheers from the girls, but the audience is quite well-behaved, listening attentively to the quieter songs. The setlist was fantastic, showcasing the charm of all four Beatles members. It included \"From Me to You,\" the single released in April, as well as \"I Saw Her Standing There\" and \"Twist and Shout\" from their debut album \"Please Please Me,\" released in March, plus Paul's early signature song \"A Taste of Honey,\" George's renditions of \"Roll Over Beethoven\" and \"Chains,\" and Ringo's \"Boys.\" John's \"Baby It's You\" was also a rare and precious live performance in front of an audience. There was a moment where Paul greeted the audience during the intro accompaniment to the second song, \"Thank You Girl.\" And the highlight was \"She Loves You,\" released just two days prior to the single's release. As Paul said in his MC that he had written it two weeks ago, John interrupted with a strange cry...lol. As soon as the performance began, it was clear from the first listen that it was a masterpiece?spontaneous clapping broke out, creating a great atmosphere as the concert progressed. The venue was larger than the Cavern, the music could be heard clearly, and the audience was well-received. This must have been the period when the Beatles felt the most enjoyment in live performances. Riding on the clapping, they passionately performed \"Twist and Shout,\" and then, as a reprise, played an instrumental version of \"From Me to You\" to end the show. In addition, the Beatles were keenly responsive to the Beatnik and Flower movements, the cutting-edge art and fashion that were beginning to permeate London, and the wave of drug culture. Recording began in April, and new songs were born one after another from the very first day, when they recorded John's \"Tomorrow Never Knows.\" On the second day, they recorded Paul's \"Got to Get You Into My Life,\" which would become the origin of brass rock. And \"Love You To,\" which could be called the first raga rock in pop history, was the culmination of George's Indian influences. \"Paperback Writer,\" which features a solid bass sound made possible by advances in recording technology, and \"Rain,\" which incorporates reverse playback, were just some of the \"rock inventions of 1966\" that they were making. Furthermore, on \"Eleanor Rigby,\" they entrusted everything to a string octet accompaniment written by George Martin, completing the song without any instrumental performance by the band members. This decision was surprising coming from the Beatles, whose identity had always been based on self-composition and self-performance. In the following year, 1965, recording of the single \"Ticket to Ride\" began, and plenty of recording takes of \"Yes It Is,\" intended for the B-side, from February 16th have been unearthed. John sings a temporary vocal while playing a J-160E, with George following along with volume pedal techniques. John switches to a classical guitar midway through, and they complete the beautiful song by layering takes. \"That Means a Lot,\" a song destined to be left off the album, can be heard here as they try various arrangements. Apparently dissatisfied with any of them, Paul says, \"Let's do a test!\" and the session tape ends with a somewhat desperate attempt at a vaudeville-style arrangement. Then, on April 13th, \"Help!\" can be heard as they try it multiple times, from take 1 to take 12. Takes 1 and 2 are immediately stopped because George's fast arpeggios are difficult. George can be heard saying, \"It's too fast,\" and in take 5, they play at a slower tempo. Take 5 is completed without vocals, and the magnificent arrangement of the ending is already decided, suggesting that thorough rehearsals had taken place beforehand.
